Easter Sermons: From the Untrained Mind

In my commitment to write analyses for every possible reading selection designated each week by the Episcopal Lectionary and the write sermons based on the essence of those lessons, I did this between Proper 5 Pentecost Year C (2013) to Proper 5 Year C (2016). I posted everything on websites I created (3). With each change of website, I had to copy, paste, and edit more and more documents.

In 2018, I began to continue this process, but other obstacles kept that from being a deep commitment. In 2020, I decided it would be best to capture all that effort in books that separated each years sermons according to seasons. As my alias had become Bus Stop Bob, I made the subtitle for each a statement that I was not an ordained priest and had no documents of educational excellence that approved my writing sermons. That subtitle is "From the Untrained Mind."

I do not think Jesus was a graduate of the school of prophets; so, I feel I am in good company.
