John 5:39-47 - How to be reborn as Jesus

Verse 39 begins with a capitalized Eraunate, which in the second-person becomes an important instruction for “you” to “Investigate” or “Search, Seek, Examine those scriptures” or “documents” of “holy writings.” Following verse 38, where realization of “him” within is the only way to know the meaning of divine texts, those who do not “believe” or lack faith are those who do not “Examine those holy writs” that are the Word of Yahweh, written by Apostles-Saints reborn as the Son.
Following a comma mark, the instruction continues to states, “as concerning that [study of Scripture] your souls (“yourselves”) you all think” or “account in to them life everlasting” or “eternal, forever, perpetual possessing” or “having, holding”. This is the mistake the Pharisees, Sadducees, scribes and Temple priests thought, which is no different today. The ones who stand and boast about how much Scripture they can quote makes them automatically qualified to expect “eternal” Salvation. This is just the first step to that end.
Following a semi-colon, which ends this line of thought, while connecting to a separate line of thought that is relative, the instruction continues with a lower-case kai. That denotes the next step is important to grasp, as the instruction then states, “these” (referring to the “souls” of “yourselves”) “they exist” and “are those witnessing” or “reporting, testifying” and “giving evidence of with respect to” or “about, on behalf of mine”. This genitive personal possessive pronoun says “those” souls who “are” and “exist” as possessed “of Jesus” (“mine”) are “these” souls that understand Scripture, because they do not claim to have word memorized (look at me!). Instead, they are “giving evidence” of the meaning by saying it is known in “them” because of Jesus within their “souls.”
With that stated, verse 39 ends with another semi-colon, such that verse 40 begins another separate but relative instruction. This also being with a lower-case use of kai, meaning this too is also important to discern properly. The first word is then the negative “not” or “nothing,” which is relative to “those” who only memorize words written, while “not” being able to explain the truth of meaning that can only come from Jesus’ voice within a soul. This negative then becomes a double-edged sword, where the next word states in the second-person, “you are willing” or “you all desire, choose,” and take “delight in to have come by the side of me” (Jesus as a soul next to the soul being saved, as two in one body of flesh) because” or “to the intent” or “in order that life you may have, possess, hold.” This means the “not” determines who is saved and who is "not" saved for eternity. When the “not” or “nothing” is removed, then the statement becomes an important affirmation of “desire to have come by the side of" Jesus.
Verse 40 ends with a period mark, while verse 41 begins with a capitalized Doxan, meaning “Glory, Honor, Splendor, Dignity, Praise,” and “Majesty” is important to grasp as relative to Yahweh. It is that “Splendor” that “from beside, near,” or “contrary to of human beings” or “of men not” or “nothing I get hold of” or “I receive”. This says Jesus (both the physical man and all who are reborn as the soul of Jesus within their flesh) is not the one to whom “Honor, Glory,” or “Praise” can go. This says the rejection of Jesus “of men” (the Son “of man”) is because he is “contrary to” the “Dignity” of Yahweh. It is that rejection that turns away from giving “Glory” to Yahweh, making “human beings” remain apart “from” and “contrary to” Him, so they never experience the “I receive” soul of Jesus as their inner Lord in their flesh.
Verse 41 then ends with a semi-colon, making verse 42 be a separate but relative statement about becoming in the name of Jesus, as one able to say, “I receive.” Verse 42 then begins by stating the exception, as “but, nonetheless, notwithstanding, indeed,” and “other things I have known, allowed, been aware of,” and “perceived your souls” (“yourselves”). This says Jesus can know the hearts and souls of all “human beings,” as the Son of Yahweh.
This leads to a comma mark, where after a pause of reflection, this line of thought continues to state, “as concerning that” or “because this love, affection,” and “benevolence of this of God (or Yahweh) not you possess” or “you have, hold, enjoy upon” or “into your souls” (“yourselves”).” This says that Jesus cannot possess any soul that does not first “love” Yahweh on such a personal-spiritual level as to become divinely married to His Spirit. This returns the focus to the importance of “you Diligently searching divine writings,” which is the first step towards a “love” relationship with Yahweh (one “of God”).
With verse 42 ending with a period mark, verse 43 then begins a new line of thought. This begins with a lower-case egō, which means “me, myself” (my soul”), where the translation of “I” can be misleading, such that “I” as a self-soul is worthless (as far as being eternally saved) without Jesus within, as one’s Lord. When the verse then unfolds to add, “I have come” or “I have appeared” (from the first-person perfect) “into” or “about to this to name” or “to authority of this of Father of me” or “my soul”, this says the soul of Jesus was created on the seventh day as the Son “of Father,” to become “into to this to name,” where the “name” Jesus means “Yahweh Saves.” This requires a divine marriage between a host soul (as bridesmaid that loved Yahweh and Diligently searches Scripture for guidance and understanding), so that when divine Baptism comes (Holy matrimony of soul-Spirit), then the Son is resurrected within the wife-soul, having been sent by the “Father.” This means the wife-soul and its flesh can become possessed “of my soul” (“of me” – Jesus), reborn in his “name.”
After a comma mark, the word kai is stated, which says it is important to understand the meaning of “not” or “nothing you accept, receive, take hold of, obtain my soul” (“me” as “myself”), which makes one become “mine” in that “name.” Here, again, the negative “not” or “nothing” is a statement that one must willingly “accept” that gift from Yahweh, whereby He must “accept” a wife-soul as worthy of His in divine union. That must be a union based on “love,” which opens a wife-soul up so “you receive” the “soul” of Jesus. On the day of Jesus’ resurrection from the tomb, when he appeared before disciples, he said, “Receive Spirit Holy” (John 20:22).
Following a semi-colon, a separate but related exception is stated, beginning with “but, if, except, before,” and “in that case another it may come” or “he may accompany, grow into to this to name to own” or “himself” (“his soul”) “his acquaintance”. This “other” is the “exception” to the divine possession “of mine” (of Jesus), where the alternative is Satan. Just as Yahweh created His Son as a Yahweh elohim, the dawn of the first day was after Yahweh “in the beginning created elohim”. Those are the angels, of which Satan-Lucifer-Azazel was one. Yahweh created Satan to be the test of a soul’s commitment to serve Yahweh; and that is the story of Job, where Satan petitioned Yahweh to test Job’s soul as married eternally to Yahweh, thus reborn within as Jesus. This means Job was the actual name of the Yahweh elohim that was planned to be cast out of an immortal state of being, which mistranslations of Scripture have Job called “Adam” (the Hebrew word for “man,” thus the Son of man).
Following a comma mark, this realization of Satan being “another” who “may come if” a soul rejects the divine possession of Jesus’ soul, the final words of verse 43 say, “he, him, it, the other you will receive, obtain, take,” or “get hold of.” This means to leave oneself (a self is a soul) vulnerable to “another” spiritual possession (of a demonic nature), the “if” or “exception” that “may accompany” or “might grow” says it is up to the host soul to make that decision. Yahweh will force no one to “love” Him and be reborn as His Son. However, “if” one makes that choice, the result is “the other you will receive.” This “other” is who possessed the souls of the leaders of the Temple that rejected a healed lame man from being reborn as the Son, in the same way they hated Jesus and plotted to kill him. This is the same demonic possession that fills pretend ministers to lead the flock away from a relationship with Yahweh, by preaching they need do “nothing” more than say I believe in Jesus as my Savior, because he died on a cross for my sins.
With verse 43 ending with a period mark, verse 44 begins with a lower-case pōs, asking “how, how much,” or “in what manner.” This question is about the “possibility” that “you all are able” or “you all have the power” (in the second-person plural) in “your souls” (“yourselves”) “to believe, have trust in,” or “to have faith”. This then advances the statement of “him you all will receive,” which is all “you” who do accept Yahweh in divine marriage, in order to be reborn as His Son Jesus, such that “those in what manner receive him” then “are able” to understand the truth of his presence and his insights into understanding Scripture, moving one’s “soul” beyond “belief” to “faith”.
Following a comma mark to pause and reflect on this “ability” to have “faith,” the lower-case word doxan repeats what verse 41 began with, in the capitalized form. This means “glory, honor, praise, dignity,” and “worship” will follow “faith”. This is “from beside” the soul of Jesus being “among” those who “received him,” as “one another” or two joined as one, the host soul with the “other” soul of Jesus, then the host souls “will be receiving, taking,” and “laying hold of” this knowledge that experiences Jesus as one’s “self” (a self is a soul) and has been elevated in “trust” to “faith.”
Following another comma mark, the word kai is next written, which denotes this next segment of words is important to properly grasp. Here, the reader is told “this glory, honor, praise, dignity,” and “worship this from beside” and “among of this alone, only,” or “by their souls” (by themselves,” as “sole”) is “of God” (Yahweh). This says “faith” from the presence of Jesus can “only” be from the possession “of God,” so a “soul” With this grasped, a comma mark then leads to the final two words of verse 44, which say “not” or “nothing you plot, you seek,” or “you desire,” which ends with a question mark. This becomes a question to one’s soul that says “nothing” about “faith” from the divine possession of Jesus “beside” one’s soul is due to self-“worship” or “personal “desire” for Salvation. One must become “nothing” in order to “honor, praise, dignify,” and “receive glory of God,” which comes from His gift of His Son to His wife-souls that love Him and show that love through willingness to sacrifice self to serve Yahweh’s “desire.”
With the question posed, verse 45 then begins with a capitalized Mē, which means “Not, Lest”. This negative leads to the second-person plural word that says, “you all think, suppose, seem, be accounted,” and “be of reputation as concerning that” or “because my soul” (“I, me”) “I will accuse, object,” and “charge with an offense of your souls” (“of yourselves”) “according to, pertaining to,” and “by the side of this Father.” This is an important statement that Jesus will “Not” come to “those of brains that think” they believe Jesus is the Son that sits “beside” the “Father,” as both being distant Spirits. That “negates” the requirement of a host soul needing to express love for Yahweh and perform acts that prove one’s soul is committed to serve Him eternally.
At this point, the focus on “Father” ends that line of thought with a period mark. The verse then begins a new direction, which uses the third-person singular as stating, “he exists” or “he is this accusing,” relating to “as concerning that I will accuse,” as stated by the soul of Jesus within a wife-soul. It is the “Father” that “accuses” or “brings charges against” a soul for sins. Those “accusations” are relative to those sins “of your souls” (“of yourselves, of you all”). With this stated, there are a pair of comma marks that contain one capitalized word within, which says “Moses”. This is relative to the one who is the communicator of the Law that is the marriage Agreement between a soul and Yahweh, making one be raised to the level of Israelite (meaning “One Who Retains God,” with “God” a reference to the soul of Jesus). One must do the work of love to prove to Yahweh one’s sins are known (due to the Law) and one sincerely repents, with repentance shown by acts of love for Yahweh that seek to understand those marriage Covenants.

This separation of “Moses” then leads to the final segment of verse 45, which says “in, into, among, concerning,” and “into a purpose your souls” (“yourselves”) you have hoped, fixed, expected” and “confided.” This says the Covenant (passed on by “Moses,” who was reborn (Saved) as Jesus) must be contemplated “inwardly” by all “souls” possessed by Jesus, whereby the absolution of past sins will be washed away by the Spiritual Baptism of divine marriage between Yahweh and a proved wife-soul, such that all “accusations” have been eliminated, allowing Jesus to enter “into” a “soul” that is a pure temple. Thus, Jesus does not forgive sins (nor die for that purpose), as Yahweh is the “only” One “able” to “accuse” and forgive. Jesus died as an example of what it takes for each individual soul to withstand persecution, without succumbing to evil temptations. Only with the soul of Jesus within one’s soul-body can one be free of the “accusations” of sin, made by the “Father.”
With verse 45 ending with a period mark, verse 46 then begins a new line of thought with the lower-case word ei, which means “if, whether, for as much as,” or “though.” This offers a suggestion as to the choice made by a soul-body to love Yahweh and “receive” His Son Jesus as his or her Lord. As Jews, they are “assigning a reason” for choosing to serve Yahweh “because you were believing” or “committing trust to Moses”. This says the first step towards a choice to serve Yahweh is relative to the Law that the “Jews” put into their brains via memory. This is one “believing” in “Moses” as holy, whereby following a holy leader means to pay attention to what a holy leader says. The “trust” is in “Moses,” more than the source of what “Moses” presented to the people (the Covenant of divine union, to become an Israelite) and what “Moses” said, more than recognizing “Moses” spoke for the “Father.”
Following a comma mark that pauses one to reflect on this “believing” in “Moses,” the next segment of words says, “you would be believing, trusting in,” and “having faith supposing” and seeing the “possibility to me, my soul” (“myself”) and “Moses” as “mine”. That says to go beyond memorization of Scripture, that written by one “trusted” to be holy, the understanding of that presented by “Moses would be having faith” from “supposing Moses” was divinely possessed by the soul of Jesus, so his actions were led by “my soul” as his “Lord.”
At that point, verse 46 is divided into two separate thoughts, both related, by a semi-colon. The following line of thought begins by stating, “on behalf of, in his company, pertaining,” and “with respect to assigning a reason to” and “because” [“Moses” is “trusted” to be holy] “of my soul” (“myself”) “he, the other, same self,” and “that one he wrote” or “described” orally what Yahweh spoke through the Son Jesus within his soul, divinely possessing “Moses” and making him become holy.
With that point made, verse 46 ends with a period mark, leading verse 47 to also begin with a lower-case ei, where the suggestion of “if, whether, for as much as,” and “through now” or “moreover,” many centuries later “to those of he to writing nothing” or “not” understanding “you believing, trusting,” and “having faith” those words are holy, the negative says memorization of words deemed holy does “nothing” to make oneself (a “self” is a “soul”) holy. This is following the leader that is an external or “other” from one’s “same self,” who is deemed holy; but that “trust” does “not” make one also be holy.
Following a comma mark to reflect on that negative, relative to “trusting” in “Moses” and “his writings” of Commandments, where “nothing” of value comes from words memorized or “written,” the final segment of words becomes a question. This asks, “how, in what way,” and “by what manner to those” Commandments memorized “to my soul” (“myself”) or “mine to words, statements,” or “commandments will you believe, commit to trust,” and “have faith in?”
This is the same problem that Jesus addressed in the vision of Lazarus and the rich man, where the rich man represented the “Jews” who profited from memorization of Law (Jewish lawyers make lots of money). They both died (a natural end to a body of flesh), but the rich man’s soul went to suffer (alone), on the great abyss from heaven (where Lazarus went). The rich man cried out to “Father” Abraham, asking him to send a warning to his five brothers, so their souls would not suffer like his. Abraham’s spirit answered, “‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead” (Luke 16:31). Thus, the question posed is one as true today as it was then. It asks, “If you put all your faith in memorizing Scripture, but do not serve Yahweh as His sacrificial lamb, being proved worthy of redemption and rebirth as His Son Jesus, where that divine possessing soul will become one’s inner Lord and lead one to know the truth and have faith, going into ministry in the name of Jesus, what good will fearing death do?
This can be seen as a conversation held between the healed lame man, then in ministry in the name of Jesus, who asked the “Jews,” “If seeing me healed by being divinely possessed by the man named Jesus will not fill you with faith to change and realize YOU are the ones wrong, then there is no hope for your souls. YOU serve Satan, not Yahweh.”
Wit this, I have written very extensively about the depth of meaning found in John 5. Will this lead anyone to change their lives and sacrifice their soul-body to love and commit to studying Scripture, to prove their repentance is sincere? I doubt there are many (if any) who will read every word written here, before boredom sends the foolish bridesmaids off doing selfish deeds, still expecting to be saved when death comes to take their bodies of flesh away.
I love that I have taken the time and made the effort to see the truth that lies hidden, until one does an exercise such as this and sees the truth unfold. Thank you, Yahweh. Thank you, Jesus.
